Assistant Project Manager – Communications/ Fibre / SDH

Permanent / Manchester / North / £31-36K + Benefits

Assistant Telecom Project Manager required with past experience of designing /planning / implementing Fibre / Copper / SDH / IP infrastructure network. You will be delivering projects in providing telecoms design and consultancy and cost control of a portfolio of client projects. You will have exposure to Project Management (preferably PRINCE2 Methodologies); a technical understanding of fixed telecom cabled networks (Fibre / copper / transmission) and will have an awareness of the civil and structural engineering issues associated with such projects. On a day to day basis you will work closely with the Project Manager and will liaise with sub-contractors and clients to drive the projects forward. Responsibilities will include report writing examining project risks and managing project finances / accounts. You will need to be comfortable under pressure and be totally focused on client delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Consultancies.
