UK’s leading Engineering Consultancy requires a Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer to take a leading role on major government technology schemes. Enjoying record / sustainable order books for the next three years my Client provides Intelligent Transport System consultancy services (electrical / electronic / telemetry / communications / power) feasibility design or project management to Local Authorities, Central Government, Agencies and the Private Sector. As an Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer you will be responsible for a variety of activities such as technical support, mentoring junior staff, report writing, client meetings / negotiations, design and network planning. As part of the Intelligent Transport team you will be working on CCTV / ANPR / Variable message Signs / Accident Detection Loops / SCADA / Optical Networks / Telemetry / SDH / PDH / DWDM / Transmission projects. The Ideal candidate will have come from a background in Intelligent Transport Systems / Highways / Motorways technology / Urban Traffic Control / Traffic signals / Systems / Electrical / Electronic / Power and have experience working on technologies such as CCTV / ANPR / Variable message Signs / Accident Detection Loops / MIDAS / SCADA / Telemetry / Optical Networks.
