The UK’s leading engineering consultancy is looking for a CAD Manager with experience of AutoCAD and MicroStation to join their Rail Design team in Basingstoke. You will have proven experience Managing Technicians using AutoCAD 2007 onwards and MicroStation. Your career history will includes experience in either Civils / Structures / Building Services / Rail / Highways / Communication / Telecommunication. As a CAD Manager you will possess the following skills: • Recent CAD Management experience. • Excellent MicroStation & AutoCAD skills. • Software customisation, support & training skills. • Multi-diciplinary CAD experience. • Rail experience. An important factor in CAD Management is an understanding of the Engineering or Architectural process, hence the role usually falls to those with some years of CAD or design experience behind them. Good problem solving skills are essential and the ability to relate to all types of people. It is preferred that you will have experience of CAD/MicroStation within the Rail and Crossrail Sector managing teams of CAD Technicians.
