IT Support - Manchester

Permanent / Manchester / North / £20,000 to £23,000 p/a

IT Support (1st and 2nd Line Support). Based in Manchester. Paying a salary of £20,000 to £23,000 plus company benefits. IS Recruitment are looking to recruit an IT support technician to work in our client’s Manchester city centre offices with at least 18 months experience of Active Directory Group Policy management, Windows 2003 Server, management of Exchange 2003 user accounts and virtualisation platforms. You will have day to day systems maintenance, application support, and general desk build to support ongoing expansion including management of patch panel and you will be joining an existing IT support department with the intention of providing 1st and 2nd line fix solutions for a range of on site IT problems, both on the telephone and on a face to face basis. There are 50 + users on the Manchester site; and there will also be support on a remote basis for other sites in the UK. Skills: • 1st and 2nd line IT support • Windows XP • Server 2003 • Exchange 20003 • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Access The working week is Monday to Friday, normal office hours.
