An international, “household” brand requires a Software Project Manager (Database, Oracle, SQL Server, PRINCE 2) to manage the implementation, optimization and support of their internal Information Management projects, IT and business processes. The successful individual will be managing one or more business and IT projects with the constraints of scope, quality, time, cost and processes to satisfy specified business requirements. As the Project Manager for Information management you will be working on national projects responsible for the full project lifecycle and the management of project budgets in cross functional project teams. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with a technical development background (minimum of 5 years - Database, Oracle, SQL Server) and 2 years IT Project Management experience (PRINCE 2, PMI qualifications preferred). As well as these core skills we will be looking for experience in the following: • Negotiate and build relationships with external stakeholders. • Ability to manage diverse teams. • Excellent analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills at all business levels. • Understanding of Relational Database concepts (Oracle or SQL Server). • Knowledge of business processes. • Managing project resources which are off site and possibly overseas.
