Systems Management Consultant (Senior) – London

Permanent / London / South / £60,000

A Senior Systems Management Consultant is required by our industry leading client to be based out of their offices in London. The role is paying a basic salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits and associated bonus schemes. The role is looking to start in either late June or early July. Role: Based in London, we are looking to recruit an exceptional customer facing Senior Systems Management consultant who can deliver products and services to the very highest of standards. The role will involve travel throughout the Europe and potentially the US. As well as delivering customer projects, this role includes working closely with our software development team to identify opportunities for new solutions and to provide input throughout the product development and release cycle. In essence, you will be working with mainly blue-chip and large organizations to lower the cost of managing Microsoft Windows infrastructures through automation, simpler infrastructures and reducing the cost of energy consumption. Key Responsibilities: • The delivery of engagements for Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) and our client’s solutions to a high standard to a diverse customer base, including a number with 100,000+ clients/users. • Working with the software development team to assist with specification of solutions, technical input around SMS/ConfigMgr, testing and writing papers on implementation best practice and optimization • Assisting the Practice Lead on development of best practice and processes • Technical research and preparation of technical papers and presentations Required Skills: • Deep technical knowledge of SMS 2003 and ConfigMgr • Knowledge of Operating System Development (OSD), MDT App-V and our solutions beneficial • Solid experience with Microsoft SMS, including design and implementation • Proven track record designing and implementing ConfigMgr • Ability to conduct technical research and produce analysis documents To hear more details about this newly created role working for our industry leading client based in London, please call Iain Brassell on 0161 973 2533 or send through your latest CV for an immediate call back.
