SMS/ SCCM Engineer – South Yorkshire (£30K to £35K) SMS Engineer. SCCM Engineer. SMS Consultant. SCCM Consultant. An SMS/ SCCM Engineer / Consultant to be based in South Yorkshire paying a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 plus company benefits and on-call allowance). Experience/Skills: • Good knowledge/experience of Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS2003) • Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS 2.0) • Knowledge and experience of SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager) • Experience working in a 2nd/3rd level support environment. • Knowledge of Desktop O/S’s - Windows 95/98, 2000 and XP Desktop. Job Description: • Publishing/testing and deployment of MSI-packaged applications. • Producing reports on success rates of all deployed applications. • Administration and support of Software Deployment and Asset Management systems. • Liaising with the on-site application discovery team and applications packaging team. • Resolutions of problem/change requests within contracted SLA targets and working with Help Desk Analysts to ensure users are regularly updated.
