IT Graduate (Software Development) - Manchester.
IT Graduate (Software Developer) is required for an industry leading client based in Manchester, paying between £18,000 and £20,000.
My client are one of the UK’s leading companies in their sector and are looking to recruit IT Graduates with a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree to join their award winning Graduate IT Development Programme.
Ideally, candidates will be recent graduates of computer science or related subjects with some professional service experience gained through an industrial placement and/or recent work experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain documentation, including process flow diagrams and technical specifications for implemented processes
• Ensure that IT solutions are relevant to the business need and developed to meet end user requirements
• Understand and adopt the principles of acting as a professional service provider to ensure a consistent standard of support to clients, which will be measured through feedback
• Communicate effectively within staff and with clients to help promote a culture of mutual understanding
• Identify where systems can be better used to help to maximise the return on investment the companies clients make in technology
• Plan and schedule process development timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation
• Proactively manage changes in process development scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
