Software Solutions Analyst / Architect / Pre-Sales (Oracle, JAVA, SQL, C++)

My client are a specialist systems integrator, providing software solutions to national and local government clients, solving real world environmental and transportation problems. As a Software Solutions Analyst / Architect you will work closely with the Software Engineering and Business Development functions, to design dynamic customer solutions involving geospatial architectures, enterprise databases (Oracle / SQL), real-time Engineering (C++) and web enabled applications (JAVA, .NET, etc.). You will need to be able to work closely with clients to capture requirements and “translate”/design the functional requirements for the software engineers to work from and take support the project development through to deployment. Preferably educated to degree level (Physics, Maths, GIS, Engineering), you will have a proven capability in systems design and software development (preferably in JAVA, .NET, Relational databases, C++) and ideally have knowledge of geospatial techniques. You must be comfortable in a customer facing role and have commercial attributes to see opportunities. It is anticipated that suitable individuals may have been Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Solution Architects, Senior Developers, Pre-Sales Design Engineers, IT Managers.
