SQL Server DBA – London (3 months)

A SQL Server DBA is required by our internationally recognised client based in central London for an initial 3 months paying market rates. The role would be joining a team that covers all SQL Server related database administration, support and project work; and you must have strong experience of SQL Server 2005/2008 database administration, with a special emphasis on Database Replication. Skills: • SQL Server 2005/2008 • Database Replication (All Types) • Web and Ecommerce, dot Net (.NET) Database Administration Responsibilities: As a SQL Server DBA and replication specialist, you will work on OLTP online e-commerce website platforms, administering and fine tuning database replication from production servers to downstream database servers. Candidates must have recent experience in working as a SQL Server DBA/Replication Specialist – ideally working on major production systems and high-end production mission critical environments. In addition, candidate should be able to perform regular DBA duties on the other hand.
