Senior Software Developer (C# and ASP.NET) – Leeds, West Yorkshire. A Senior Software Developer (C# / ASP.NET) is required by our industry leading client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, paying a salary of between £28,000 and £35,000 (plus company benefits), depending on skills and experience. Our client is currently expanding their software development team with the recruitment of two Senior Software Developers to join a busy systems development department working on both internal and client-facing systems. Reporting to the Systems Development Manager you will be involved in the design and development of Web applications, with skills in the following core areas: • 3+ years Web development experience in C# and ASP.Net, (2008) • 2+ years SQL skills, preferably MS SQL-Server 2005/8 (inc. T-SQL) • Exposure to new technology - e.g. ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, Windows Workflow, WPF, WCF • Experience of working in a source code controlled environment • Production of quality code to specification and deadlines • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages This is a technical hands-on role with day-to-day responsibilities as follows: • Design and development of Web based applications • Program software to agreed functional and technical specifications • Development-based unit testing of produced software • Maintenance of existing systems and fix software quality issues • Communicate status of development tasks as required • Mentor and review development team members To hear more details about this newly created role working for our industry leading client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, please call James Garvey on 0161 973 2533 or send through your latest CV for an immediate call back.
