Permanent / Southampton, Hampshire / South / £28,000 to £35,000

A .NET Developer / Software Developer (VB.NET/C#/ASP.NET) is required by our industry leading client based in Southampton, paying a salary of between £28,000 and £35,000 depending on skills and experience. The Senior Developer is primarily responsible for producing and enhancing the company’s software products, which will involve: the design of solutions resulting in the production of Design Documents and Technical Specifications, development of software based upon specifications and unit testing to ensure the minimum of defects. Skills: • At least 2-3 years recent experience of developing information systems, preferably commercial systems • Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net) or C# • .Net Framework • ASP/ASP.Net • JavaScript • XML, XSL & XML Schema • MS SQL Server Programming • Ability to design new solutions and enhancements to existing systems As a .NET Developer, you will be required to work on all aspects of design and development as and when required by the scheduling of the department’s work, and will have personal responsibility for ensuring that work is being carried out with regard to the appropriate standards and to the agreed schedule.
