Infrastructure and Opeartions Consultant - Cheshire

Permanent / Cheshire / North / £28,000 to £36,000

An Infrastructure and Operations Consultant is required by a leading IT company that is undergoing a period of major growth based in Cheshire. Our client is looking for two people and is looking to pay between £28,000 and £36,000 depending on skills and experience. Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience working with Windows based infrastructure, including Windows 2000/XP/20003 and Microsoft Active Directory. On a day to day basis, you will be providing the administration, implementation and deployment of a variety of software builds on PCs, administering email accounts and providing assistance with end user support and maintenance for Windows based servers (2000/2003). You will possess a minimum of two years experience in systems and network administration, two years with PC and network hardware and at least two years end user support. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills and be well organised and methodical in their approach to their work and as t these roles are working for a leading IT Consultancy, the role will involve some travel on an ad-hoc basis, as some projects will require the need to work on client sites for some part of the week. All applicants must have attained either a suitable industry qualification and/or a degree and be keen to develop their career in the consultancy arena.
