Why use an IT Recruitment Agency?

It is true that there are a number of ways to recruit for your IT staff, with a recruitment agency being just one of them. However, not everyone has the time to handle an internal recruitment campaign, which is where a dedicated IT recruitment agency can really help.

If you did decide to try and manage your recruitment internally, you would need to set aside time to compose your vacancy before posting it on various job boards (and there are many!). After this you need to have the time to search all of the relevant CV databases out there, and like the job boards, there are many to choose from. You can now go ahead and talk to each on the phone and get an idea of their skill levels. After this you might want to put them down as someone you would like to interview. But if they are good, be quick because it is possible you might lose them to a competitor! You need to act fast if they are in short supply.

Once you have contacted your final 10, you might have narrowed this down to 3 that you would like to see, but is what they are asking as a salary reasonable for their level of skill? Do you have concerns about any legalities surrounding the recruitment of someone on a permanent basis?

You might be a few weeks down the line and have spent countless hours trying to find that perfect candidate only to discover that none of your final selection are actually suitable - so you begin again!
